AnnouncementKick-off, 1 October: fourteen partners convene in Esch-sur-Alzette
On 1 October 2026, the LATTICE consortium meets at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology to open a 36-month programme funded by the European Union through the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre.
The agenda for the first period is concrete: establish measured baselines for today's cross-border coordination (documented at 12–24 hours), specify the federated architecture, and build the three core subsystems — the Jury Protocol consensus engine, the peer-to-peer secure multi-party computation (P2P-SMPC) privacy gateway, and the federated digital twin network. All four pilot sites — in Germany, Greece, the Netherlands and Luxembourg — are committed from day one.
First public outputs: the open-source alpha on GitHub in 2028, with core deliverables published as approved. Four operational pilots run continuously from early 2029.
